What We Need:

We are looking for an e-Commerce Trade Sales Specialist to join our team in NYC.

In this role, you will develop and grow trade sales, serving as a product expert and brand advocate while creating a thriving customer community. You will work with designers, architects, and retail customers to provide specialized knowledge on our brands and offerings.

What You Will Do:

  • Exceed sales targets through relationship-building with trade professionals and direct customers.
  • Network with design associations and conduct outreach within the targeted design community.
  • Generate accurate quotes based on project specifications, including custom orders.
  • Communicate with our suppliers to confirm product details, pricing, and availability.
  • Create and maintain special orders in our systems for efficient tracking.
  • Collaborate on developing engaging content and events that position our company as a resource for the trade community.
  • Assist customers with furniture selection based on style, functionality, and budget.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of furniture styles, manufacturers, and market trends.

What You Have:

  • At least 2 years of sales experience with emphasis on customer service and meeting sales goals required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and e-Commerce platforms required.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture items up to 50lbs (heavier with team assistance) required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and aesthetic sensibility preferred.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours to attend networking events and/or meet customer needs may be needed.
  • Multi-language proficiency preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of European furniture lines, materials, and construction preferred.
