JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION The Nurse Manager is responsible for the leadership and coordination of all nursing at the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Walk In Center (CSU/WIC) under the clinical oversight of Centerstone of TN Director of Nursing and administrative oversight by the Program Manager for the CSU/WIC. The CSU/WIC Nurse Manager will assure quality nursing care. The CSU/WIC Nurse Manager is responsible for developing unit goals, objectives, and policies and procedures. Collaborates with the team in developing, coordinating, and implementing clinical and program activities. Responsible for infection control for the CSU/WIC campus and assuring all regulatory requirements are met Guarantees the highest degree of quality care is maintained in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Understands and confirms compliance with accrediting agencies, to include required trainings and documentation. Collaborates with Provider staff and management team to support the patient experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with four years' equivalent RN supervisory experience in a behavioral health field. Years of Experience Two (2) years of previous leadership is strongly preferred. Certification/Licensure RN Licensure in good standing with no restrictions in the state of Tennessee. Must have a valid driver's license and complete required background checks as required by agency policy and or funding sources. CPR/ACLS Certification required.
