Quality Assurance Technician

As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform multiple scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards.

You will be onsite at PPG's Circleville, OH plant, and report to the Supervisor Quality Assurance Systems. This will be a rotational shift schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Test for Raw Materials, In-Process, and Finished Goods material by means tests.
• Conduct and validate multiple chemical quality control (QC) assays.
• Compile, interpret, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations.
• Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
• Maintain area organization and cleanliness.
• Certificate of analysis generation for outgoing material shipments.
• Monitor lab email for temporary process notes and lab work requests.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma required.
• Knowledge of Chemistry.
• Preferably up to 1 year of experience.
