Georgia Pacific Gypsum is hiring a National Account Specialist for the Lumber & Building Materials (LBM) channel. You will be at the forefront of strategic initiatives, where you'll not only manage current LBM accounts but also pioneer new avenues for business growth. As a driving force behind our overall LBM sales strategy, your primary focus will be on identifying and executing sales strategies focused on mutually beneficial and profitable growth. Your success will be measured by meeting sales objectives, revenue growth, and expanding our client base.

We are seeking a candidate located anywhere within the Central or Eastern part of the United States. This is a home-based position with up to 30% domestic travel primarily focused on visits to prospects, customers, customer sponsored events, and other reasons for travel that creates value.

Our Team

At Georgia-Pacific Gypsum, our national accounts team is expanding due to a tremendous growth opportunity. We are dedicated to managing the largest strategic LBM accounts in the industry. We work collaboratively with our customers and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of groups and members in this channel. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop a large portfolio of high-value customers, while also solving complex problems and providing mutually beneficial solutions. We take pride in our ability to build strong relationships with our customers, understanding their specific needs and delivering an exceptional service experience.

What You Will Do

* 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management focused on growth
* Demonstrated ability of comprehending customer needs and delivering solutions while maintaining mutually beneficial outcomes focused on profitability.
* Strong account management skills with the ability to work through internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated proficiency in applying an end-to-end sales process, showcasing exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
* Willingness to travel up to 30% within the US domestically, including overnight travel.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management focused on growth
* Demonstrated ability of comprehending customer needs and delivering solutions while maintaining mutually beneficial outcomes focused on profitability
* Strong account management skills with the ability to work through internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrated proficiency in applying an end-to-end sales process, showcasing exceptional skills in prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
* Willingness to travel up to 30% within the US domestically, including overnight travel

What Will Put You Ahead

* Bachelor's Degree
* Experience using Power BI (or other data modeling tools) to drive business decisions
* Advanced proficiency in leveraging relationships to identify competitive situations in the market and responding accordingly/with appropriate timing
* Experience prospecting new business
* Direct sales/account management experience in the building materials industry

For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $105,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
