Position Summary: IEM is looking for aFull Time - Cutover Planning Lead to join our dynamic team. Primary Location:
- Candidates can originate from anywhere in Puerto Rico.
- Candidates will work remote and travel to client sites within Puerto Rico as needed.
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires travel to complete work assignments or attend meetings.
Essential Functions:
- Works with vendors, business and IT resources to effectively plan releases to DEV, TEST, UAT and Production environments as required by project needs.
- Develop and manage detailed cutover plans and schedules for migrations to production.
- Coordinate all cutover activities to ensure seamless transitions.
- Align all cutover resources on cutover strategies.
- Provide regular status reports regarding cutover status.
- Coordinate with the LUMA Change Advisory Board to initiate and plan migration activities
- Define and document business freeze dates, business continuity plans for cutover, business recovery strategies, and system ramp down & restart dates.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Provide support during release activities and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Perform major storm restoring work and associated drills as assigned or needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years IT Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to create detailed cutover plans, including timelines, milestones and task assignments.
- Experience with cutover planning processes.
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) - Five (5) years Electric Utility experience.
- Track record of working in large, complex transformation programs.
- Microsoft project or similar planning tool.
- Bilingual proficiency in written and oral communication (Spanish and English).

- Physical Requirements: During site assessments you may be asked to remain in a stationary period, sit, stand, bend, grab, or kneel; you should also be able to life/carry between 10-30Lbs approximately and have 20/20 corrected vision.
