THE JOB: Asan Assistant Manager for The Cosmopolitan Spa and Salon, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your commitment to ensuring efficient daily operations, and dedication to promptly resolve guest concerns, fosters a welcoming atmosphere for guests that lays the foundation for unforgettable memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Ensure efficient daily operations of Spa and Salon, fitness center safety, staff engagement, and alignment with operational procedures, and performance standards Provide timely and professional resolutions for guest related challenges or concerns Work closely with various departments to address equipment malfunctions, submit work orders, and accommodate VIP requests Assist in leading the implementation of policies, operating procedures, and upholding rules, regulations, safety and sanitation guidelines for all Spa & Salon staff Ensure timely resolution of timekeeping issues such as missed punches, maintain employee schedules, and conduct warehouse product orders Assists Spa Leadership in talent development of staff, including conducting interviews, training, performance evaluations, coaching and issuing discipline Provide individualized experiences by engaging with guests and personalizing recommendations to promote services, enhancements, upgrades and retail products
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience Currently holds or is able to obtain a Food Handler's Card and Alcohol Awareness Card Has Spa & Salon leadership experience in a hotel or resort setting
