Pavion and our family of companies is seeking a talented and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our security business unit. This individual will be responsible for deepening the relationships RFI has with existing clients and providing strategic support throughout the pre-sales and post installation sales process. These duties include gathering sales data, creating and managing sales campaigns, and establishing efficient sales procedures. Performs necessary tasks that aid in achieving established sales goals which may include cross-selling different products and services, answering incoming sales requests, and working with manufacture reps to keep the sales team up to date on new system benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inside Sales & Customer Success:



  • Generate cross-selling opportunities including a focus on evergreen contracts, subscription service contracts, and service contracts.
  • Proactively deepen RFI's existing customer relationships through solution sales mitigating attrition.
  • Support and manage new sales campaigns that align with sales goals and initiatives.
  • Assist marketing team with product launches and campaigns.
  • Work directly with sales and channel sales to facilitate complex order, customer relationships, and supporting the sales processes.
  • Communicate timely and effectively to resolve RFI, Client, or other inquiries and/or requests. Be a customer-facing representative at RFI and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Actively listen to customer concerns and resolve customer challenges.
  • Other sales related activities, conferences, events, and objectives as deemed necessary.


Sales Operations Support:



  • Support the internal sales team throughout the customer journey from pre-sales to post-installation, defined by the business profile, certificate of insurance and contract execution to ensure, broker and sustain client satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage day-to-day sales activities including updates to customer profiles, maintain pipelines, creating tasks, and assigning incoming sales leads.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to prioritize sales needs, create action plans, and align goals to RFI business initiatives.
  • Actively support preparation and processing of sales reports for forecasting and internal use.
  • Develop sales KPIs to increase visibility of business initiative/sales campaign success rate.
  • Work in compliance with RFI's policies and procedures, including with safety of self and other in mind at all times.
  • Interactive positively and be proactive with internal and external customers.


Basic Qualifications:




  • High school education, or equivalent



  • 3+ years of experience in Sales



  • Proficient in the following computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM)




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Security and/or Life Safety sales experience
