What We DoConducts or assists in the conduct, analysis, reporting, documentation and remediation planning of underwriting file reviews. Responsible for miscellaneous agency account management duties for agents. Also performs various duties for agency seminar and training and other projects / reports as needed.

This position will be remote within the state of Missouri. Travel is required.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs on-site annual underwriting reviews of agents. (travel required)
  • Analyzes agent transaction files to ensure state and/or federal compliance on title and closing issues. Review rate and fee calculations; validate forms and information; ensure internal and external standards and practices are met and deadlines followed.
  • Identify and report on audit findings; direct and coordinate the activities of agents to ensure timely response to underwriting review findings and remediation efforts.
  • Produce underwriting audit reports to management and clients outlining "findings" and remediation plan.
  • Complete state specific annual underwriting reports and file with state regulators as needed. Work with state counsels and /or Corporate Regulatory counsel as needed.
  • May manage CE / CLE state specific filing / compliance for National Agency training / seminars for agents.
  • Work with Escrow Audit staff on resolution of "observations" noted in annual agent reports.
  • Manage client accounts; i.e. assist with licensing expansion into new states, products, etc.

What You'll Bring:

  • State by state rules on title insurance and closings including premium and endorsement calculations; state specific fees, RESPA, title clearance knowledge, and CFPB
  • Able to troubleshoot and guide agents on timely remediation efforts, identifies solutions / best practices utilizing functional expertise
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent time management, writing / communication skills, analytical skills, human relations, organizational skills, and the ability to extrapolate information
  • Word, Excel, SharePoint, and general mathematical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in multi state or national title and escrow operations and/or agency management/licensing and compliance/underwriting for a title insurance company on a state or national basis.
  • Missouri Title experience

Pay Range: $57,000 - $76,000 Annual

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
