*We are seeking a skilled Charge Master to join our team at a large hospital.* Daily Job Duties: * Monitor and maintain hospital departmental chargemasters to ensure accurate billing for new and existing service codes. * Ensure appropriate bundling or unbundling of charges to maximize reimbursement while adhering to applicable billing and reimbursement regulations. * Review Medicare intermediary and other third-party payor bulletins to stay current on billing requirements. * Assist Patient Financial Services billing personnel in resolving third-party payor billing issues. * Develop reports to analyze reimbursement practices of third-party payors. * Create reports to evaluate the reimbursement impact of third-party payor contract proposals as requested by facility Fiscal Directors and/or financial analysts. * Provide analytical support related to reimbursement and billing to facility Fiscal Directors and/or financial analysts. Preferred Certification Requirements: * Coding Certifications (CCS, CPC, CPC-H, RHIT, RHIA) preferred but not required. * Must have experience in Hospital and Professional Charge Master management. Specific Skills Required: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a chargemaster or revenue integrity-related role. * Extensive experience with Excel. #westpriority25 *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
