*Description*
As part of the Global CAD team, the CAD Helpdesk Technician helps ensure efficient and stable operation of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and related systems for CAD data creators and CAD data consumers by providing support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and training. Key Activities & Responsibilities: Identify and resolve CAD user and system issues. Educate Engineering design teams on software continuous improvements and solid modeling best practices. Recommend software improvements and upgrades. Ensure engineering users have adequate hardware and system requirements to meet their expected workload and deploy/upgrade hardware for the department. Identify and resolve system issues. Coordinate with software vendors to provide appropriate software training and fixes. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures for outsourcing drafting. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
