What do you need to succeed?

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Lead with 9+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services and a strong background in cloud architecture and management. This role involves overseeing cloud infrastructure ensuring security and optimizing performance. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions using AWS services.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of AWS infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of AWS services such as AWS Config AWS CodePipeline and AWS Firewall Manager.
  • Implement and manage AWS Organizations and AWS Workspaces.
  • Apply AWS Glue for data integration and AWS DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Manage AWS OpsWorks for configuration management and AWS Trusted Advisor for cost optimization and performance improvement.
  • Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure the reliability and security of cloud solutions.
  • Implement AWS SSO for secure and efficient user access management.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor cloud performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and solving for cloud-related issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of cloud innovation.
Qualifications
  • Possess extensive experience with AWS services including AWS Config AWS CodePipeline and AWS Firewall Manager.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS Organizations AWS Workspaces and AWS Glue.
  • Have experience with AWS DevOps and AWS OpsWorks for continuous integration and configuration management.
  • Show proficiency in using AWS Trusted Advisor and AWS Well-Architected Framework for optimizing cloud solutions.
  • Experience with AWS SSO for managing user access is highly desirable.
  • Background in Business Information and Information domains is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and apply them to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong grasp of cloud security standard processes and regulatory obligations.
  • Ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues effectively.
Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Security Specialty

Salary and Other Compensation:

This role is accepting application through 4/4/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000-$117,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
