If the selected applicant is hired as a Temporary Fixed Term employee/associate, their employment with Cognizant will typically be for a period of three to six months. Any extensions to the temporary employee's employment period will be solely at the discretion of Cognizant Technology Solutions. Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Fixed Term Contractor to join to support Commercial and Business Leadership positions. This individual will support our hiring managers and business unit leadership in identifying, selecting and hiring best-in-class talent. During this assignment, you'll be responsible for handling Sales and Director-level requisitions, interfacing with sophisticated client groups, and assessing and attracting commercial candidates in a competitive market. You'll be accountable for your requisitions, ensuring that we meet our internal client expectations, identifying qualified candidates, negotiation, and offer extension. It will be key for the individual to be self-directed and to follow the process and compliance requirements. Responsibilities * Reporting to a Recruiting Lead, you will be aligned to one or more Business Units on a national level and will be responsible for managing requisitions for commercial and leadership recruitment * You will work with senior stakeholders (both BU Leaders and Hiring Managers) to plan and implement recruitment projects to ensure Cognizant hires the best external hires in line with corporate strategy and within pre-agreed project parameters including quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, etc. * With some support and oversight, manage the recruitment process from intake meeting through screening, interviewing, assessment, offer extension, acceptance and hand-off to on-boarding for lateral candidates * Follow the processes for Recruitment, HR, and Operations; take accountability for learning new processes and remain in compliance with TAG (Talent Acquisition Group) and company policies * Provide accurate statuses to the business via regular updates and reporting * Create offer approvals, provide all relevant documentation, and communicate offers to candidates * Maintain accuracy of data in Applicant Tracking System (ATS); assist in reporting and data integrity Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * 10+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within the executive search, agency, design, management consulting or in-house executive recruiting * Experience creating sourcing strategies, recruiting in international markets, utilizing industry insights to find talent, understanding corporate and executive hierarchy. * Experience thoughtfully engaging talent and assessing competencies; excellent interview skills and usage of interview frameworks to concurrently sell to and assess candidates * Strong communication skills and ability to build productive partnerships; solid written and verbal communication skills are key * Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes; the embodiment of Cognizant's Values of: Work as One, Raise the Bar, Dare to innovate, Do the right thing, & Own it Work Authorization * Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the country where the role is located without company sponsorship |
