Sr. Devops Engineer

Location: Columbus, Georgia, United States (hybrid)

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD, PowerShell scripting, Azure IAC-Terraform, JFrog, SONARQUBE, GITHUB.

This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive efficiencies and improvements in our development and deployment processes. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery for .Net and Java applications.

Responsibilities

* Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Azure IAC-Terraform to automate deployments.

* Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

* Integrate and manage JFrog for artifact management and distribution.

* Ensure code quality and security by implementing SONARQUBE in the CI/CD pipeline.

* Collaborate with development teams to integrate GITHUB for version control and code collaboration.

* Oversee the use of Azure DevOps to streamline project management and deployment processes of Java and .Net based applications.

* Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and continuous delivery.

* Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on best practices for DevOps.

* Optimize build and release processes to reduce deployment times and increase reliability.

* Conduct regular reviews and updates of DevOps processes to align with industry standards.

* Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Qualifications and Mandatory skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in DevOps Cloud Engineering related field preferred

* Azure Devops

* CICD pipeline development

* Sonarqube, Jfrog, Dynatrace

* Powershell Bash YAML

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
