JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Position IntroductionAuxiliary and Business Services (A&BS) Information and Technology office is actively searching for a highly motivated Application Developer - Business Intelligence. Application Developers are responsible for designing and/or modifying computer systems and applications according to specifications and business requirements; design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain applications; evaluate existing applications and recommend technical solutions to improve scalability; may develop new applications when existing solutions are not available. The Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analysts to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. The primary focus of this position will be designing and developing business intelligence (BI) applications and architecture. Through this position, A&BS IT offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Business Intelligence culture. If you have creativity and initiative, this role may be the perfect fit for you. As a critical member of the team, you'll address technical challenges, optimize BI tools, multitask, meet deadlines, and engage in effective customer communication. Your impact will be instrumental in driving success! Location This position is primarily in-person at the University Park Campus in State College, PA, with some flexibility for hybrid work. Minimum Education and Experience: This position minimally requires an associate degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for higher-level positions.
