Job Summary:

Train and coach recruitment and supervisory staff. Perform new hire coaching of nesting teams for successful release to the calling floor through one-on-one skill development. Perform additional training workshops and one-on-one coaching as needed. Function as a back-up supervisor as required at the direction of the Performance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one skill development coaching and support to assigned staff members as directed by supervisor.

  • Help develop workshop and training materials and deliver team training and coaching as assigned.

  • Perform new hire coaching for successful release to the calling floor.

  • Provide assessment of staff skills to determine additional coaching needs.

  • Function as back-up supervisor as needed.

Standard Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm OR 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Eastern time. If you select the 9:00 am to 5:30 pm shift, you will still work the 2:30 PM to 11:00 pm shift 1 week per month. One weekend rotation per month will also be required.

The salary range for this position is $ 21.41 - $26.16 per hour.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

  • Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure is required. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with potentially difficult staff and customers, and work in a fast-paced call center environment is required.

  • Excellent computer skills required.
