This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that's sufficient for completing their job remotely.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring lead generation and product marketing goals are achieved, and the development and delivery of strategic and tactical marketing campaigns while maintaining brand health. The Director of Marketing is an accomplished collaborator and communicates effectively and appropriately at all levels to influence and impact desired outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading a team of marketing managers, this role is responsible for all marketing activities for the products and services provided for Harley-Davidson Financial Services across all direct-to-consumer and dealer marketing channels (digital, email, direct mail, event, SMS, print, etc.) for both acquisition and existing customer engagement initiatives
- Source and serve as relationship owner for various agencies to support marketing activities
- Partner closely with teams from HDMC and external product providers to deliver on product marketing-related goals
- Effectively own and manage multiple internal and provider marketing budgets to achieve desired product results
- Responsible for successful product launches and ongoing marketing campaign strategies that maximize awareness, create demand, and drive market share with clear metrics set and measured throughout the customer lifecycle
- Lead and enable the HDFS Marketing team to work effectively & collaboratively by developing the necessary leadership behaviors, skill sets, & differentiating capabilities.
- Responsible for strengthening the brand and leading the development and execution of HDFS marketing strategies.
- Leverage analytics to track campaign performance and take action based on data-backed decisions. Ensure all marketing test and learn activity is structured and robust enough to divulge key insights and highlight growth opportunities.
- Partner with leadership across the organization to develop Global Integrated Marketing Strategies and ensure organizational alignment toward critical business objectives and strategies.

Experience Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Experience developing budgets, resources, and strategies from concept to execution across all B2B2C (dealer) and direct-to-consumer channels, including Digital (all forms of paid and organic), Email, Direct Mail, Events, and Affiliate
- Understanding of financial services products (consumer financing, credit cards, insurance, etc.) and the various lifecycles and journeys associated with the products
- Ability to translate complex concepts into tactical action plans for various teams and stakeholders
- Firm understanding of business and financial concepts to determine the value of any potential investment in the initiatives pursued.
- Ability to identify and drive proactive work that aligns with overall corporate vision and respective market goals, all while considering the most effective means of addressing the needs of the different customers.
- Demonstrated leadership of both direct reports and internal/external stakeholders through current and future change and transition by leading through their own behaviors.
- Builds trust through the environment they create with cross-functional teams & dealers; possesses impeccable written and oral communication skills.
- Can operate with a holistic view of the retail business and enterprise operations, which enables effective decision-making, the ability to prioritize work, & proactively address opportunities at the market level.
- Effectively navigates at various levels of the organization to acknowledge and balance connected and dependent strategies, directions & priorities.
- Requires a broad knowledge of motorcycle culture beyond Harley-Davidson; ability to travel up to 30%

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
