Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$93,000.00 to$154,900.00.

Position Details
The Corporate Communications Manager leads the development of high impact internal company communications programs. You will support enterprise communications and functional Human Resources communications, including high priority and complex communications assignments. You will lead communications planning and projects and will collaborate with business area team members and senior leaders. You will report to the Senior Manager, Communications.

You Will
* Lead execution of deliverables for both daily functional communications, complex communication needs for the business area, and HR communications to the enterprise.
* Work and projects to include managing and improving communications channels, content development for business initiatives, communications training for people leaders, creation and support of stakeholder engagement strategies, large meeting leader communications support, company strategy deployment.
* Manage multiple daily and project work streams concurrently, identifying and elevating integration opportunities and roadblocks to ensure impactful communications across teams and functions.
* Develop standards and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of communications channels, including editorial calendar development and management, measurement.
* Manage communications plans, key messages, presentations and other supporting materials for key priorities and high visibility projects; report out on progress to senior leaders.
* Provide strategic direction to teams managing deployment and change communications.
* Ensure Grainger's brand is represented positively in all company materials and communications.
* Show up as a business leader, beyond the role of communicator.

You Have
* 5+ years of experience across all dimensions of internal communications
* A willingness to experiment with new ways to communicate with team members
* Proven success working in a matrixed environment and leading large scale, complex change initiatives
* Experience consulting on strategic communications recommendations to both corporate and field clients
* Experience advising peers and senior leaders on communications
