Job Description:

  • This is a technical position in a high-volume production unit responding to and assisting law enforcement, other state agencies, and customer service centers to provide superior customer service.
  • The incumbent will be expected to work efficiently and accurately to meet project goals, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Incumbent must be able to work as part of a team with supervision provided on an as-need basis.
  • Update data to customer's records in TREDS. Serve as subject matter expert on motor vehicle crash information.
  • Provide quality analysis of data and post data to customer's driving records in TREDS database systems in accordance with motor vehicle laws.
  • Ensure crash data is accurately maintained in DMV's automated systems.
  • Evaluate and analyze incoming crash reports for accuracy and determine coding for relevant information.
  • Process an average of 19-24 crash reports per hours to TREDS.
  • Ability to effectively use PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem solving, keyboarding, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills, accuracy, and attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Ability to read, explain, and apply complex laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Treat people with respect under all circumstances; to manage difficult customer situations; to respond promptly to the needs of the customer.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, motivated, and responsible.
  • Provide feedback to supervisor or manager on an informative basis.
  • Use correct vocabulary and grammar, avoid slang and offensive language.
  • Report to work on time, leave and return from breaks and lunch on time.
  • Displays a positive attitude about the work to be done, co-workers, customers, management, and employees per policies.
