Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Biller with experience in TMW (Transportation Management Software) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying freight charges, and ensuring accurate and timely billing for logistics operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of transportation and freight billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and audit freight invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts and rate agreements.
  • Utilize TMW to enter, track, and validate billing information efficiently.
  • Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Generate, review, and distribute invoices in a timely manner.
  • Verify shipment details, including weight, dimensions, freight rates, and accessorial charges.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Assist in month-end closing by reconciling billing data and ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments when necessary.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the billing process.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience with TMW (Transportation Management Software) is required.
  • Previous experience in logistics billing, freight auditing, or transportation invoicing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of freight terms, accessorial charges, and transportation industry regulations is a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics billing, invoicing, or a related field.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
