Business Analyst - Life Sciences
We are seeking a driven and analytical Business Analyst with a background in business and 1-2+ years of consulting experience to help emerging and established life sciences clients solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will provide data-driven insights, manage projects, and deliver strategic recommendations that drive operational and financial performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to support high-value initiatives across market access, commercialization, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives such as process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and operational optimization.
  • Partner with senior leadership at client organizations to define goals and develop solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Develop and implement de-risking strategies to help clients navigate regulatory uncertainty, market fluctuations, and operational risks.
  • Analyze business data, financial information, and market trends to drive actionable recommendations.
  • Create compelling client deliverables (presentations, reports, dashboards) to communicate insights effectively.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and client expectations, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Support client engagements in launch planning, market access, supply chain, and commercialization strategies.
  • Lead workshops and client meetings, providing insights that influence key business decisions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to guide client strategies and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 1-2+ years of experience in management consulting or a strategic role in life sciences, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience leading projects or workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working directly with senior-level stakeholders on high-impact decisions.
