Vaco has partnered with a company looking for a payroll administrator to join their team for 10 weeks! Job Summary: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role involves maintaining payroll records, verifying timesheets, handling tax compliance, and addressing employee payroll inquiries. The Payroll Administrator works closely with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule. Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, tax forms, and direct deposit information. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., taxes, benefits, garnishments). Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management. Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll concerns. Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation. Assist with payroll tax filings and audits. Ensure proper record-keeping and confidentiality of payroll data.
