$18-$23/hr POSITION SUMMARY: Schedules, organizes, and monitors the receiving and distribution of items received and shipped to customers. Coordinates collectively with the Warehouse Supervisor and the Logistics Manager to ensure a smooth and consistent operation in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy management and customer requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential Functions include but are not limited to: * Schedules all inbound and outbound truckloads using the scheduling system while receiving continuous direction from the Logistics Manager based on customer needs, equipment and manpower capacities. * Corresponds with trucking carriers to ensure efficient pickups and deliveries based on our shipping and receiving requirements. * Properly checks in all drivers using the check in sheet and directs them on how they will proceed. * Responsible for ensuring that all drivers have signed in before assigning them to a door. * Assist as needed with communication with Hydra Transport dispatch to obtain pickup and delivery information in order to schedule efficiently. * Assists in resolving discrepancies with Accounting and Customer Service regarding invoices, packing slips and receiver and shipping reports. * Responsible for the flow of paperwork from the shipping and receiving department to Customer Service for timely data entry. * Scanning and creating BOL's (Bills of Lading). * Entering data for damaged/repaired rolls. * Act as a backup for the Customer Service Representative position. * Maintains thankful, respectful, polite, and courteous attitude. * Other duties as assigned.
