Unit Hours: Monday - Friday 8a-8:30p Shift Options: (Four) 9hr shifts + On-Call Requirements (Four) 10hr shifts + On-Call Requirements (Five) 8hr shifts + On-Call Requirements About ATC Unit - In the ATC area, this area is dedicated to the recovery and discharge of patients following surgery and anesthesia. It is designed to ensure patients are stable and prepared for discharge to home. Nurses are responsible for monitoring patient's vital signs, pain levels, and overall conditions. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate readiness for discharge. Provide patients and their caregivers with detailed educational instructions regarding postoperative care, medication management, activity restrictions, and signs of infection/complications. Staff members work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other healthcare proffessionals to coordinate patient care. Care for Cardiac cath lab , General, Urologic, Orthopedic, Gynecologic, Colorectal, Pain management, Interventional Radiology, and GI procedures. We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
