Position SummaryAs the Accounting Manager at Light & Wonder, you will oversee all general accounting functions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines. This role involves managing the financial close process, preparing and analyzing month-end reports and explaining variances. You will work very closely with the Global Close and Control and Shared Service teams to integrate certain functions and processes. You will be responsible for account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and documenting accounting processes and procedures. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards for the Charitable gaming business is crucial. Additionally, you will develop, implement and oversee accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in process improvement and change management, continuously enhancing accounting processes and managing changes effectively. The role will also work closely with various functions in the organization, including but not limited to FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, IT, Legal, etc. Essential Job Functions:
