NAVAIR Security Specialist

• Laboratory Operations
• Verify clearances for lab visits via DISS
• Update Jira database with new personnel
• Update, verify, and print user access list from Jira
• Verify SAAR-N if access to lab systems required
• Schedule and verify visitors per security requirements
• Become familiar with lab operations and security procedures
• Shipping classified and unclassified fleet media
• Complete shipping paperwork (1149, ROR, Sig & Tally)
• Update shipping information within Triton JIRA / TAM records
• Ensure delivery of shipped packages, updating Jira with signed copy of paperwork
• Receive packages
• Create JIRA tickets of items received.
• Sign paperwork, e-mail to sender and upload to JIRA.
Disseminate received items to end user

• High School diploma and 1-2 years of related work experience
• Familiarization with Jira, DISS, and facility security procedures preferred
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must be a US citizen.
