Position Title: xHEV Application Calibration Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI.

** Must have valid Drivers License **


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Calibration tools INCA, MDA, PowerCal, CRETA, CANAlyzer and CANoe preferred.
  • Action a disciplined test plan and verification process to ensure quality calibrations are released.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and with others.
  • High level of analytic ability and creativity.
  • Ability to balance work effectively on multiple issues.
  • Exhibit strong leadership presence by engaging management as necessary to ensure project objectives are achieved.


Description:
The xHEV Application Calibration Engineer is responsible for HCP calibration development from first Hardware-In-Loop simulators, powertrain dynos and mule vehicles up to production on next generation OEM Electrified Powertrain vehicles. The application calibrator will develop HCP calibrations to meet vehicle performance targets, assess vehicle attributes and support all feature development.
