Job Description

Puget Sound Energy, Bothell, WA seeks a Senior Application Configuration Analysts responsible for diagnosing complex problems, developing and implementing solutions in SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component) components including EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and implement features of Enterprise asset management. Work with various business groups to understand business requirements and model them into internal SAP ECC systems and determine technology best suited to deliver the requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Take part in various phases of SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle), from requirements gathering, analyze, design, configure, build, test and maintain SAP systems. Perform functional validations for SAP programs, Workflows, reports developed in SAP EAM areas and providing guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials to include liaising with the business requirement and develop SAP Solutions and Implementation Strategy. Perform configuration and support core SAP EAM transaction like Functional location, equipment, maintenance order, notification, work center, task list, maintenance plans, etc. Maintaining and Supporting SAP ECC, along with integration with Click Schedule (scheduling software), Work Manager (Mobile tool), OMS (Outage Management system), WEBic. Maintain and troubleshoot issues raised by relevant business users. Size and fine tune the SAP systems in liaison with SAP system administrator teams. Convert business requirements to detail system designs, developing business process flows, writing functional and technical requirements/specs, developing test plans and applying testing and quality monitoring procedures specifically including requirement gathering, process mapping, designing solutions to business problems and implementing the solution. Integrate solutions in EAM with SAP IS-U FICA and Billing and its integration with other SAP modules - Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Resource Management, Customer Relations Management (CRM), Device Management, BRF+ and other non-SAP applications - MDMS, GIS (Geographical information system), SCADA. Coordinate with Customer care, Customer Billing and Meter Operations (Meter Ops) teams to provide support for relevant SAP system. Interact with Electric/Gas operations, Outage Management Operations, Billing performance, Customer Call Centre and Field operations to support and understand their business and reporting requirements. Initiate, plan, design and build SAP complex queries using MS Visio, Access DB for the migration of data. Work with IT support teams including development, testing, training and system management to deliver project requirements to understand their technical requirements and designs to ensure they are aligned with the company's overall SAP and IT applications strategy. Work with IT Security team to understand potential Security vulnerabilities and perform Security planning. Implement disaster recovery plan, build and code SAP programs for SAP Databases in-case primary servers are down.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Software Engineering or a related field of study and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included Technical experience in all phases of software implementation lifecycle methodologies to include analyze, design, configure, build, test and implement; Implementation of SAP's EAM (enterprise asset management) module; Performing tasks including requirement gathering, process mapping, designing solutions to business problems and implementing the solution; Provide guidance to business and functional units in developing tests and training plans and materials to include liaising with the business requirement and develop SAP Solutions and Implementation Strategy; Integrate SAP's Plant maintenance module to other 3rd party software including Click Schedule, work manager, OMS, ADMS and Work Manager; Integrating SAP's plant maintenance software with other business processes including Finance Management, Material Management, HR, Sales and Services; Working with multiple project teams including development, testing, training and system management to deliver project requirements; and Conduct SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Master data workshop related to objects including main workcenter, equipment, functional location, material BOM, maintenance item, task list, class/characteristics, codes groups and codes, measuring points and counter, notifications and work orders. $190,486/yr. 5 day, 40 hr/wk.

The pay range for this position is$190,486-$190,486, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
