* *Route/Switch* * *Network Configuration* * *Rack/Stack* * *Understanding of Physical infrastructure. * *Description* Job Summary: The Infrastructure Analyst, Network Technical Support will be responsible for developing and performing implementation activities for projects, ensuring quality assurance, and providing technical support for network infrastructure. This role includes participating in a Follow-the-Sun (FTS) on-call rotation and acting as the primary contact for vendor Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in support of operational problems. The analyst will develop and maintain technical support processes, network service support models, and operations practices, including workflow automation. Key Responsibilities: - Implementation Activities: Develop and perform implementation activities for network-related projects. - Quality Assurance: Identify and submit network design issues to Engineering for resolution. - On-Call Rotation: Participate in Follow-the-Sun (FTS) on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support. - Vendor Support: Act as the primary contact for vendor TAC in support of operational problems. - Technical Support Processes: Develop and maintain technical support processes and deliverables. - Technology Handover: Develop and maintain processes for the hand-over of technology and services to Operations. - Service Support Models: Develop and maintain network service support models. - Operations Practices: Develop and maintain operations practices and workflow automation. - General Practices: Assist with the development and maintenance of network service general practices. - Technology Recommendations: Provide network technology and service recommendations. - Device Configuration: Develop and maintain device configuration standards. - Training Programs: Develop and maintain technology training programs. - Network Strategy: Contribute to the development of network service strategy. Technical Skill Requirements: - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of telecom networking-related experience, specializing in one or more of the following areas: - Medium to large enterprise networking infrastructure/services. - Core Networking Technologies: Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, Wireless LAN. - Transport Technologies: MPLS, Frame Relay, VSAT, Leased lines, campus cabling. - Network Security: Remote Access Technologies, IPSec. - Voice Service Technologies: PBX, VMX, Call Center-IVR, Cisco IP Telephony, Microsoft LYNC. - Data Centre Services: Application Accelerator, Load Balancer. - Routing Protocols: BGP, ISIS, EIGRP. - Vendor Familiarization: Cisco, Juniper, F5. *Skills* rack and stack, Network engineering, Cabling, Support, Router, Firewall, Troubleshooting, Help desk support, Help desk, Technical support, Customer service, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Switches, Hardware, Helpdesk troubleshooting, juniper *Top Skills Details* rack and stack,Network engineering,Cabling,Support,Router,Firewall,Troubleshooting,Help desk support,Help desk,Technical support,Customer service,Cisco routers,Cisco switches,Switches,Hardware,Helpdesk troubleshooting,juniper *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
