*Description*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our client's team. This new position will play a crucial role in supporting several upcoming projects, including: Windows 11 Migration: You will be responsible for overseeing the transition to Windows 11 across the organization. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing the migration process to ensure a smooth and efficient upgrade for all users. Telephony Migration: In this role, you will lead the migration of our clients telephony systems to fully integrate with Microsoft Teams. This involves enabling outbound calling capabilities within Teams and transitioning away from our current Cisco telephony infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage the Windows 11 migration project, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure all systems and applications are compatible with Windows 11. Support the telephony migration project, including the setup and configuration of Microsoft Teams for outbound calls. Provide training and support to staff during and after the migration processes. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migrations. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the projects. Details / Day-Day: Administration (50%) - Microsoft OS administration - Platform Imaging - Software Deployment - MDM - O365 Admin - Patch Management - General Security Knowledge Service Desk Technician (50%) - Take tickets, interact, troubleshoot, resolve - Incidents and requests - Create + maintain knowledge documentation - No on-call requirements, tickets in-queue --> Email or Direct portal ITSM/Ticketing System -- Migrating over to Fresh Service (from Kace) Provides end user support both onsite and remote where applicable. Monitors all systems and services and take action to ensure optimum performance and reliability. Maintains a Life Cycle Plan for IT assigned systems and services. Implement hardware and software installations and/or changes to achieve maximum user productivity and uptime. Interpret user business and technology needs and implement appropriate, approved solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Implement, and maintain systems and services in support of company business development efforts and IT department plans while maintaining the current security landscape. Collaborates regularly with IT Systems Engineering team in the support of the business users and technology standards. This individual must be willing to take on primarily End User Support duties, with the ability to move into move Systems Administration duties: *Provide End User and Business technology support *Microsoft OS Platform Administration *Device Platform Imaging and Software Deployment Administration *Mobile Device Deployment and Management *Virtualization Infrastructure Administration *O365 Administration *Cloud Infrastructure Administration (Azure, AWS) *Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing *System performance Testing *Patch Management *Security of all networked systems *Security of all networked company data *Systems and service upgrades to improve productivity and reliability *Thoroughly test new solutions/changes in test environment prior implementing *Communicating changes to all effected parties *Maintain Life Cycle Plan for systems and services *Participate in annual budget process *Serve as a resource to IT as well as other departments for technical issues *Serve as a back-up for other system and network duties as needed *Assist users and departments in effectively leveraging our production software tools *Create, publish and maintain standard procedures and system documentation *Create, publish and maintain knowledge articles consumed by end user and internal IT Staff *Maintain support contracts for all servers and services as delegated *Adhere to suitable administrative practices and methodology *Research and propose new technology and existing technology enhancements *Adhere to defined project timelines and budgets *Participate in various IT department projects and company team as required *Top Skills Details* Windows,Active Directory,Administration,Windows server,System administrator,Azure,office 365,ms teams,vmware,Cloud,Systems engineering *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related degree *2+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment with ~200+ users *2+ years of experience with Microsoft services including but not limited to Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure Cloud Services, Office 365, MS Teams/Telephony, Windows 10, 11, Intune, Autopilot Device Imaging, Software Deployment *2+ years of experience with Virtual Server and Desktop environments VMWare, Windows, On Premise and Cloud *2+ years of experience with maintaining/supporting enterprise security initiatives *Experience with RPA, Systems Automation Tools and Platforms *Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate *Ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality requirements *Ability to analyze complex requirements and develop technological solutions *Strong written and verbal communication skills *Strong interpersonal skills *Detail oriented *Team player *Creative and Critical Thinker *Independent *Self-Motivated *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
