Today, we continue our collaboration with multinational customers and global brands while expanding our capabilities, investing in local teams and forging partnerships to serve our local and regional customers on all continents with market-specific or private labels. A series of recent acquisitions is further expanding our access to a broad base of local and regional customers while at the same time allowing us to respond to changing consumer preferences.

Reporting to a Regional Sales Director, you will have opportunity to grow accounts in a specified category as a primary focus - in this case Store Brand/Private Label (Ingredients and Product Development, CoManufacturing knowledge helpful). We prefer for this role be Cincinnati-based, but we do have the flexibility for other locations given this is considered a fully remote role. Being in-office when not traveling to be in-tune with our technical teams has its advantages if you are located near one of our technical centers.




  • Account Management: Lead and influence strategic account planning. Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts. Develop thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data. Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans.


  • Negotiate and Collaborate: Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application. Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to technical interface. Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch. Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.


  • Business Development: Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities. Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers, positioning us as preferred supplier and ensuring we are positioned to participate in targeted briefs and on core supplier lists.



You?



  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science
  • 8+ years experience in sales, marketing or customer relationship role in private label food (or related) industry
  • Experience with the flavor industry, including consumer and industry trends
  • Knowledge of customer strategies, projects, commercial needs and product launch processes and competitor activity
