Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing is seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing faculty member to join our team. This position will primarily support teaching responsibilities within the concept-based Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program in Northwest Arkansas. The faculty member will also contribute to the scholarship and service missions of the College of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty appointment (Tenure-track or Non-tenure track). Qualifications:
    • Master's degree or higher in Nursing PLUS two (2) years of teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program.
    • Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN or Advanced Practice Nursing license, with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Doctoral Degree
    • Experience with simulation-based learning.
    • Familiarity with concept-based curriculum.

    Additional Information:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in the Accelerated BSN program.
    • Utilize innovative teaching strategies, including simulation and concept-based learning.
    • Engage in scholarly activities, research, and evidence-based teaching practices.
    • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
    • Participate in service activities at the college, university, and professional levels.
