Role Summary

Rivian isseeking a proven sales leader who desires the challenge of a new business and the excitement of building something from the ground up. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, driving business growth and performance in alignment with Rivian's core values and culture. This role is extremely cross-functional, bringing together diverse stakeholders on initiatives critical to Rivian's success, providing executive enablement and serving as a liaison to key Rivian commercial customers.

In this highly dynamic role, you will triage issues and tasks as they arrive: solving challenges, finding answers, and collating concerns for expedient escalation and resolution. You will operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, sometimes overseeing projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart. To be successful in this role, you must think end-to-end and thrive in ambiguous and unexpected environments, tackling all challenges with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales organization in meeting or exceeding deliverables through alignment on process, timelines, dependencies, individual accountability, and responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of integration across the Sales organization and among cross-functional stakeholders, streamlining communication and workflows
  • Communicate the strategic vision effectively to internal and external stakeholders, inspiring engagement and commitment
  • Proactively anticipate and identify issues that impede business success, providing effective solutions
  • Analyze site performance, consumer behavior, and market trends to identify actionable local marketstrategies to drive growth
  • Generate data-driven insights from performance dashboards in support of presentations andread-outs to senior leadership
  • Funnel information up, down, and sideways: sift, analyze, prioritize, and make the communication flow as efficient as possible
  • Collaborate, interact, and influence cross-functionally and with leadership, nurturing relationships through listening, integrity, and trust
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as Rivian company policy and procedures

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in retail and/or sales operations or sales planning, preferably in a direct-to-consumer business model
  • Exceptional project management skills and solid judgment when it comes to diagnosing, prioritizing, and solving business process challenges
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk management skills with a curiosity to problem-solve, analyze, and identify corrective actions to prevent a recurrence
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires both attention to detail and the ability to zoom out to drive strategic decision-making
  • Ability to analyze data and report out findings that are actionable by both the business and technical teams
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, solicit cooperation, and achieve results through collaboration while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range California Based Applicants: $125,000 - $150,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range Illinois Based Applicants: $114,000 - $138,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
