As a Sr Digital Product Manager supporting Digital Health Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of digital health data and analytics products within the digital health team. You will work closely with key stakeholders to define product requirements and roadmaps for reusable data products and analytics platforms that drive efficiency, scalability, and actionable insights that revolutionize the way connected and personalized care is delivered. You will be a champion and advocate for driving the sustainable value creation from data and AI, both for our customers and Alcon. We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker and problem solver. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Collaborate with the digital leadership team to develop and implement the data product and analytic platform vision that aligns with overall business goals of Digital Health.
- Define and own the end-to-end strategy for critical data products, from ideation to production, to deliver business value and end-to-end seamless customer experience.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the data & analytics product roadmap. Ensure the product backlog is clearly described, estimated, and prioritized to drive the team towards the product vision.
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, including defining product requirements, and work with the team to write epics and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with the product vision and strategy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data protection laws.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build modular and reusable solutions supporting the product vision and strategy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful product launch and user adoption.
- Define and track key performance metrics, engage with internal and external customers for feedback and user needs, and drive continuous product improvements.
- Contribute to the overall success of a team of high-performing product managers and data domain owners.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, and excellence, adhering to best practices and high standards.
- Be a champion and advocate of the value of data and analytics including engaging executive leadership and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+2 yrs)
- 7 Years of Product Manager experience, preferably in ecommerce sector
- 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
- Comprehensive experience in technical product management within MedTech and Healthtech companies. This includes developing product vision and roadmaps, engaging with customers, driving development, coordinating launches, and ensuring post-launch success.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end delivery of multiple high impact cloud-based data and/or analytics/AI products that drive better user experience and business value.
- Proven track record of successfully leading high performing product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams including software engineering, data privacy and security, regulatory affairs, clinical, commercial and customer success.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy and security-related regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, FDA cybersecurity for medical devices, and familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, HITRUST, SOC II).
