As the Key Account Manager, you are responsible for management of specific account(s)/relationships within an assigned territory to foster and extend the relationship & obtain sales targets. You will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within accounts and gain deep understanding of customer challenges with respect to patients and identify solutions that enhance patient care.

Your additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement detailed business plans for assigned accounts that support the national strategies and objectives of Sandoz North America.
  • Grow business within the assigned accounts to achieve annual net sales targets.
  • Identify key decision-maker networks and their needs and engage key customers to implement appropriate Sandoz portfolio account initiatives to develop long-term partnerships.
  • Recognize the difference between customers short-term demands and long-term priorities and advise with internal partners in the contracting discussion.
  • Consistently demonstrate exceptional skill in preparing for and conducting successful contracting and negotiation sessions, anticipating any potential compliance risks.
  • Anticipate healthcare market and industry trends that could significantly impact short and long-term customer business, act on innovative customer insights that drive new business opportunities across customer groups and proactively identify niche/emerging solutions that would drive account success.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate product, customer, contract, and account-level performance with key internal teams.

Position/Territory Location: This territory will cover Dallas / Ft. Worth, north Texas, OK and AR. Candidates must reside within commutable distance to the Dallas / Ft. Worth, TX area. Relocation benefits will not be provided.

What you'll bring to the role:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree (BS or BA) from an accredited college or university
  • 10 years overall healthcare sales experience
  • 5 years institutional/hospital experience
  • Candidate must have a valid state driver's license, and a driving record deemed safe by Sandoz requirements. You must be able to safely operate and drive an automobile to perform required field visits.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office when necessary for business purposes.

Preferred Experience:

  • Biosimilars
  • Oncology biologics and /or Rheumatology products in hospital systems or clinics
  • Buy and bill

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking ability to balance short and long-term goals
  • Must be a self-starter willing to meet aggressive goals and willing to be actively involved in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to manage competing priorities, stay organized and prioritize as needed
  • Strong project and time management skills

Travel Requirements:

  • Requires approximately 25-75% travel, depending on target clients and territory

Sandoz offers a generous employee benefits package that includes a competitive salary, health insurance coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental and vision, a generous company match for retirement savings accounts, and generous paid time off.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $138,600 and $257,400/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
