Position Title: Material Handler - 1st Shift

Material Handler Responsibilities: - Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move loads throughout the plant and supply production with required materials grouped according to production orders to enhance productivity and maintain product flow - Read and understand production orders, blueprints and route to group materials for production - Maintain 5S organization of materials within the department - Deliver completed materials to specified areas - Remove scrap/waste material from the department - Possess a working knowledge of SAP and be able to access SAP on a PC - Perform safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, etc., to operate properly - Keep inventory and materials organized and accessible - Use material handling equipment appropriate for each type of requirement Requirements for Material Handler: - Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting, and bending, as well as pushing, pulling, and lifting to 30lbs - Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports - Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts - Manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly - Able to pass forklift certification training beaverdamresumes@qpsemployment.com IND036 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
