Intralox, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and self-managed Capacity Planner to join our Production Control team. Responsibilities: * Executes effective and efficient capacity planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products * Coordinates with upstream functions (Engineering, Sourcing, Plastics, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Machine Shop) to assess the feasibility of product offerings and ensures the availability of components and finished goods * Organizes real-time resolution of production disruptions and operational challenges * Facilitates capacity planning cross department and cross shift collaboration meetings. * Analyzes production data to identify areas for improvement and actively participates in continuous improvement efforts focusing on operational efficiency opportunities * Reports on production status and any issues ensuring timely resolution of problems Requirements: * Team Player: Have a customer-focused approach and is self-managed. * Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations about capacity planning requirements. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple departments. * Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, production schedules and inventory management. * Time Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently to meet deadlines and support Intralox's high service levels. * Inventory Management: Ability to track and manage inventory to ensure materials are available when needed. * Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in the production process and develop new and effective solutions. * Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. * Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs in a dynamic and demanding business environment. * Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Products. * Professional Experience: Five or more years of employment history. Desired Qualifications: * Education: B.S. in Business, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Supply Chain Management or another related field * Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. * ERP Systems: Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. * Career Background: Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role. * Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: A solid understanding of manufacturing processes. |
