Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Design Delivery Specialist to help lead and support multidisciplinary projects using Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment. The Design Delivery Specialist will be responsible for assisting in project execution for multi-discipline design as it relates to the candidate's experience and aspirations. This role will also support the strategy for developing and implementing company BIM guidelines, documenting best practices, establishing typical workflows, and sharing BIM knowledge throughout the company. The Design Delivery Specialist will report to the Design Delivery Leader under the Chief Engineers Technical Services group.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide design support and execution for modeling, reviewing, and producing contract drawings on multi-discipline water and wastewater projects.



  • Provide support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of company BIM guidelines and transition to ACC This could include:





  • Updating, evolving, documenting, and educating staff on best practices.





  • Updating, evolving, establishing, and training staff on typical workflows.





  • Creating and evolving initial project setup approaches with company-typical workflow documents.





  • Initiating Revit-based projects with discipline-specific models in accordance with documented company standards.





  • Work as part of a BIM/CAD support team to set consistent approaches that achieve consistent results.





  • Act as liaison for BIM-related coordination both internally and externally.





  • Provide in-house Revit and Civil 3D technical support to staff.





  • Develop and lead regular in-house training opportunities.





  • Provide shadow training to staff on Revit and BIM Implementation.





  • Content creation and maintenance: Templates, components, and custom families, in accordance with the company standards.





  • Support and develop automation tools to facilitate data exchanges between different data management platforms and design applications to assist with design delivery processes.





  • Coordination with KJ's Engineering Systems Team Team to facilitate advanced CAD and BIM capabilities that will transform our project delivery process using ACC and latest design software effectively and efficiently.



Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of professional multidiscipline Revit use and support.





  • Technical, expert-level knowledge of BIM processes and technologies.





  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD C3D, AutoCAD P&ID, Inventor, Navisworks Manage, ACC, Bentley ProjectWise, Bluebeam Revu; and Microsoft Products.





  • Bentley MicroStation product experience is a plus.





  • Working knowledge of water, wastewater design industry, and plan production cycle.





  • Experience with multiple BIM/CAD roles: training and software support, mentorship, designer/modeler production support, and BIM Management.





  • Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary project teams positively and proactively.





  • Eager to support staff with a positive attitude, passion, and patience.





  • Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.





  • Use skills to best fit company Engineering Systems infrastructure and company CAD/BIM standards.





  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.





  • Ability to think critically and objectively when considering a potential new technology adoption.





  • Self-motivation to learn new concepts quickly and independently.
