Benefits Strategy Analyst, Senior

As a Benefits Strategy Analyst (USCA), you will work with team members to develop a benefit plan strategy for US and Canada. In collaboration with SBUs and HR Operations, you ensure set-up and smooth delivery of benefit plans to attract and retain employees. Reporting directly to the Global Benefits Leader you will be responsible for welfare and retirement plan administration by maintaining accurate plan designs, policies and certificates.

Key Responsibilities

• Main driver in the development of all welfare and retirement communication planning and materials, such as, but, not limited to: employee benefits messaging, communication campaigns, Summary Plan Descriptions.

• Manage tasks as assigned related to the benefit changes and offerings, employee contributions, communications and portal content/enrollment flow for the open enrollment periods.

• Facilitator of the benefit content modifications within the My Benefits portal; work together with Operations to ensure accurate execution.

• Collaborate with the Operations team for successful executions of open enrollment periods, new plan implementations, benefit plan changes, portal content modifications, compliance distributions and more.

• Drive all compliance activities to completion within the regulations and deadlines using support from outside legal counsel.

• Be the COE for welfare and retirement support, with a leave (including State leaves), disability and state compliance.

• Create and organize data requests to support the Labor team with union negotiations preparations.

• Support all acquisition and divestiture activity with population analysis, appropriate benefit offerings and communication materials and support transition services.

• Represent us in interactions with external parties to protect PPG's interests and reputation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related; and minimum of 3+ years of experience.

• Knowledge of the U.S. and Canada benefits, including leaves and disability.

• Experience working with computer systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Suite, including advanced Excel knowledge and Workday.
