Anaplan is looking for an SEO Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective SEO strategy that aligns with business goals to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for Anaplan global web properties.

You will be responsible for optimizing new and existing content as well as presenting strategy and results to key stakeholders. You will drive significant organic traffic growth by owning and executing a comprehensive SEO content roadmap for our global web properties, including international websites, that aligns with business goals and consistently meets measurable targets. And you will enhance site visibility and rankings through collaboration with content, solutions, local region stakeholders, and design teams, ensuring both content and features are optimized for SEO.

This position will report to the Director of Web Strategy and will work closely with the marketing, and web development team. You will also manage our relationships with our external SEO Agency.

Your Impact

Strategy



  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases. Lead efforts in keyword research to identify new content opportunities, trends, and competitive gaps.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze competitor strategies to uncover potential areas for improvement or new initiatives to enhance our SEO efforts.
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Provide recommendations for technical SEO improvements.
  • Build and maintain a detailed content roadmap for the global website, including our international sites, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives to drive organic traffic growth.
  • Partner with paid media team for overlapping keyword content and strategy


Content Management



  • Provide clear guidance on SEO best practices, keyword usage, and content structure to ensure that all published content aligns with SEO goals.
  • Regularly audit web content, including international websites, for accuracy, effectiveness, and technical performance, resolving issues like broken links, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content remains relevant and up to date.
  • Oversee the successful execution of SEO content strategies in current and new copy being submitted by the Content teams to ensure that the correct keywords and terms are used to align with SEO strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth on-page SEO audits to ensure content and technical elements such as meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and schema markup are optimized for search engines. Provide actionable recommendations to improve content quality and keyword targeting.
  • Regularly review key SEO performance metrics such as organic traffic, rankings, and engagement. Use these insights to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Proactively recommend actionable strategies, driving continued growth and optimization.


Reporting



  • Track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms. Identify new opportunities for enhancing site performance, fixing technical issues, and improving organic rankings - Including site speed, mobile usability, structured data, and technical optimization.
  • Improve performance metrics by analyzing SEO data, identifying opportunities, and recommending actionable strategies to increase rankings, engagement, and conversions.
  • Communicate SEO performance results and insights to senior business leaders, providing clear updates on progress toward goals, upcoming challenges, and key opportunities to expand organic traffic growth. Develop presentations and reports that explain SEO strategies in business terms.


Outreach



  • Educate marketing team on latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.


Your Qualifications



  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role.
  • Experience driving traffic growth with data-based SEO strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Brand, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Ability to think strategically, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:



  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Ads, BrightEdge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS), AEM, is a plus.

Base Salary Range:
$117,000 $168,000 USD
