Role: Point of sale Product Engineering Manager

Lead the design, development, and implementation of POS systems and related software.
Experience in Cloud POS solutions.
10+ years of experience in a technical production support lead role with expertise in Retail POS systems.

Roles/Responsibilities
* Expertise in API development & integration
* Troubleshooting in a production environment.
* Experience with incident management, monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk), and root cause analysis (RCA).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder and vendor interaction

Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Extensive experience in product engineering, particularly with POS systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development, project management tools, and quality assurance methodologies.

10+ years of experience in a technical production support lead role with expertise in Retail POS systems.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
Experience with PredictSpring or any other Cloud POS solutions.
Knowledge of Rust programming language.
Hands-on experience with Retail ERP integrations.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $66,896 to $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
