We are seeking a Facility Engineering Manager in Canonsburg, PA. Here is how the Facility Engineering Manager role will impact our business:

The Facility Engineering Manager position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing strategic guidance for a team of facility engineers to meet established milestones and company goals revolving around new development and operational support. This position will play a critical role in ensuring all deliverables for the facility engineering are being met with a focus on specifications, accuracy of design, timeliness, cost effectiveness, environmental stewardship, and volumetric throughput.

What you will do:



  • Assume ownership of Facilities Standards, Facility Engineering Best Practices, and Equipment Design Specifications.
  • Develop and evolve the specifications/standards/guiding documents leveraged by the team in the completion of projects.
  • Oversee project management for technical projects and drafting related to facilities construction and operation to ensure accuracy of design, timeliness, and budget delivery.
  • Function as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the facility engineering team.
  • Mentor and guide the development of assigned facility engineering staff.
  • Design significant operational and procedural improvements and leverage technical and administrative skills to ensure the completion of engineering projects.
  • Oversee the management of the AFE process/costs/yearly budgets for the facility engineering staff.
  • Reduce capital/expense, improve efficiency, and meet Department needs.
  • Coordinate the Facilities Engineering function with other internal and external teams to maximize value to the organization.
  • Ensure the management and timeliness of design and execution of Facilities projects.
  • Identify and initiate projects that increase asset integrity (design for the life of the asset).


Minimum Requirements:



  • U.S. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent.
  • 5 years' progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Strong understanding of ASME & ANSI Specs and Standards.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Experience, including Vizio, with familiarization of SQL, RScript and Python.
  • Familiarization with Scada Systems, Synergy, AutoCAD, ProMax, Blue Beam, and Ariel Performance.



The position allows working from home, but incumbents must live within a commutable distance of Canonsburg, PA and work from the EQT facility in Canonsburg up to 30% of the work schedule. The position also requires traveling to, and working at, various EQT facility locations in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania up to 5% of the schedule.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
