This role is a unique position focused on brand and channel management along with business development activity across key brands within the Industrial Wood portfolio. Our brands are marketed to cabinet, furniture, architectural millwork, and other wood OEM shops both directly and in partnership with external distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada. This role requires an experienced marketing leader with a broad set of customer-facing and project execution skills who can help accelerate growth, market share, and profitability.
- Lead Assigned Brands' Strategic Planning, Voice of Customer, and New Product Ideation Efforts
- Document and present brand plans that establish brand mission, key objectives, internal and external assessments, product roadmaps, channel strategy and initiatives, and digital and other brand communication strategies.
- Drive research and voice of customer initiatives to gather key market and competitive landscape insights.
- Work in partnership with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, and R&D to gather internal insights and ensure proper awareness of and alignment to brand plans.
- Lead regular business updates documenting current results, key initiative progress reports, and market updates/insights.
- Manage annual marketing budgets and spending accountability.
- Drive Execution of Assigned Brands' Key Initiatives in Collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Marketing Communications Teams
- Develop new product business cases and launch plans for national product development programs. Work with Product team to keep projects on track through development and with Marketing Communications to execute launch activities.
- Document annual brand communications plans and drive project execution through Marketing Communications team.
- Lead decisions on make-up of marketing merchandise program, mobile showrooms, loyalty programs, and other key support programs.
- Drive Channel Marketing Excellence for Assigned Brands
- New Location Growth
- Partnering with Sales, identify best markets and partners for additional location expansion, as well as investment requirements, incremental sales opportunities, and implementation timelines.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Communications to execute new location support programming and related requirements.
- Distributor Engagement & Support
- Support key distributor discussions, including annual business plans and quarterly check-ins, to drive new launches and other key programs while sharing/collecting key market insights.
- Support the development and communication of a Distributor Scorecard that evaluates our operational performance and our distributors' alignment to key strategic metrics.
- Partnering with Marketing Communications team, organize and provide necessary information, digital assets and templates for internal/external training and selling support.
FORMAL EDUCATION: Required:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or other business concentration
Preferred:
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required:
- At least 8 years business development, brand marketing, channel marketing, product management, or distribution channel sales experience with a successful track record of driving sales and profitability growth, particularly with national marketing programs sold through diverse channels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop insights and relationships with internal and external sales partners as well as end use customers.
- Significant experience creating and executing strategic growth initiatives, including new product innovation and location expansion.
- Ability to think independently while also leading and influencing in a cross-functional organization.

- B2B Industrial Marketing or Sales experience
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required:
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours
- Overnight travel will be required at times
- Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to obtain a passport.
- Candidates must also possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a performance rating of standard or better.
