What We Do Establish, build, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with assigned Trust Accounting clients. Provide full-service reconciliation (from 1st tier/routine to 2nd tier/complex) to our escrow and title partners focusing on complex customer service issues. Analyze customer needs, identify problems, research issues, and recommend solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Compare Financial Records
    • Reconciliation account specialists examine a customer's escrow accounting records, such as ledgers and bank statements, to ensure they match.
  • Identify Discrepancies
    • Account specialists look for any inconsistencies or errors between different financial sources.
  • Investigate and Resolve
    • When discrepancies are found, account specialists investigate the causes and work with clients to resolve them.
  • Ensure Accuracy
    • A reconciliation account specialists' goal is to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

Supervision Received or Extended

  • Work independently completing assigned priorities and objectives with supervisory consultation. Work reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy.
  • Willingness to make recommendations in collaboration with management.
  • Generally, no direct supervision of others, however, may be responsible for coaching and directing work of junior team members.

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Edge) and demonstrate the ability to learn custom, proprietary applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Range of Experience

  • 5-7 years of directly relevant reconciliation work experience, mortgage or title insurance industry preferred.

The pay range for this role is $62,700.00 - $83,600.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
