What We Do Establish, build, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with assigned Trust Accounting clients. Provide full-service reconciliation (from 1st tier/routine to 2nd tier/complex) to our escrow and title partners focusing on complex customer service issues. Analyze customer needs, identify problems, research issues, and recommend solutions. Essential Functions Compare Financial Records Reconciliation account specialists examine a customer's escrow accounting records, such as ledgers and bank statements, to ensure they match. Identify Discrepancies Account specialists look for any inconsistencies or errors between different financial sources. Investigate and Resolve When discrepancies are found, account specialists investigate the causes and work with clients to resolve them. Ensure Accuracy A reconciliation account specialists' goal is to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data. Supervision Received or Extended Work independently completing assigned priorities and objectives with supervisory consultation. Work reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy. Willingness to make recommendations in collaboration with management. Generally, no direct supervision of others, however, may be responsible for coaching and directing work of junior team members. Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Edge) and demonstrate the ability to learn custom, proprietary applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Keen attention to detail. Knowledge of accounting principles. Experience with financial software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Typical Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Typical Range of Experience 5-7 years of directly relevant reconciliation work experience, mortgage or title insurance industry preferred. The pay range for this role is $62,700.00 - $83,600.00 This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
