Job Summary:

Compass Digital and Levy are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Digital Strategy Director to drive digital transformation and innovation within the company. This role serves as a subject matter expert, strategic leader, and key liaison between Levy, Compass Digital (CD), and executive-level operators within the Levy sector. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to develop and implement cutting-edge digital strategies that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Digital Vision

  • Define and support the strategic vision for technology and the digital customer journey, aligning with organizational and client goals.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives to position Levy and Compass Digital as industry leaders.
  • Act as a liaison between Levy, Compass Digital, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and strategic execution.

Collaboration & Client Engagement

  • Partner with site operators to develop technology solutions that address operational challenges and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Lead and support new business sales and retention efforts, including RFP responses, presentations, and technology demonstrations.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with clients, vendors, and internal teams to evaluate digital initiatives and technology solutions.

Operational Excellence & Innovation

  • Establish and manage technology planning processes for all venues within the division(s), ensuring timely status reporting.
  • Advocate for business units by leveraging technology solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and venue dining experiences.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of digital learning opportunities, pilot projects, and hardware remediation initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance insights on technology solutions and communicate data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI applications and data analytics to support business decision-making and improve operational strategies.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a digital strategy thought leader, recognized for expertise in digital transformation and technology.
  • Represent Levy, Compass Digital, and key stakeholders professionally in accordance with company policies.
  • Take a proactive role in identifying business needs and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for major accounts, addressing issues and ensuring exceptional client service.

Travel & Location Requirements

  • The position requires proximity to a major airport to facilitate travel.
  • 30% travel is required, which may include weekends, holidays, or hours outside of regular business operations.
  • Flexibility and availability are essential to support critical operations and ensure the successful execution of key events. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in digital strategy, technology leadership, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer experience, and operational technology solutions.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Smartsheet, and Slack.
  • Experience leveraging AI applications for business efficiency and innovation.
  • Data analytics expertise to assess digital solution performance and drive strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives, and anticipate business needs.
  • Experience in the food service, hospitality, or venue management industry is a plus.
