Amplify is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven Product Marketing Manager, Core Literacy to join our team. In this role, you will support product marketing initiatives for our core literacy programs for K-8 English Language Arts (ELA).

The Product Marketing Manager will help shape the voice of the product and contribute to building a loyal customer base by creating compelling positioning, developing messaging, performing in-depth competitive analyses, enabling the sales team, and working with Content & Growth Marketing to drive campaigns across channels (digital, print, events).

The ideal candidate is data-driven, collaborative, and has excellent communication and writing skills. You must be able to prioritize and meet the needs of competing demands. This role reports to the Executive Director, Core Literacy Product Marketing, and works cross-functionally with Product, Content, Marketing, and Sales teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support product launch planning for our core literacy portfolio. Collaborate with the Associate VP, Executive Director, and cross-functional teams to build and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches and enhancements, helping the sales team achieve revenue targets.

  • Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development and marketing strategy. Develop a deep understanding of customer purchasing behaviors, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to inform product development roadmaps and marketing strategies.

  • Write and develop marketing collateral and sales resources. Support the sales team by creating one-pagers, brochures, guides, FAQs, pitch decks, competitive research summaries, and product demos as part of the go-to-market plan.

  • Build deep product expertise. Gain in-depth knowledge of all K-8 core literacy products and craft compelling narratives for them. Stay informed about product developments to guide the sales team and ensure our K-8 story resonates with customers.

  • Develop print and digital sampling solutions. Contribute to the strategy for print and digital sampling of our core literacy solutions, maintaining the Bill of Materials for stadium boxes and sample bags, and supporting the development of digital and print reviewer materials.

  • Champion the product roadmap. Work with Product Managers to internalize and communicate the product roadmap. Support product launches and create tools to translate new product features and editions to the sales team and prospects.

  • Partner with Content & Growth Marketing to plan and execute marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to drive Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through acquisition channels,focusing on middle- and bottom-of-funnel campaigns.

  • Maintain core literacy product pages on Amplify.com and the internal Sales Hub.Ensure that all messaging and materials are current and optimized for website and sales team use.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in education publishing, ed-tech, or similar industries

  • Experience writing and editing marketing materials

  • Strong coordination and communication skills, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of an organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior success marketing literacy programs, preferably core curriculum

  • Experience marketing products to schools and districts

  • Experience conducting research and organizing findings

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000.
