Job Summary Provide "silver lining" support to our insureds and claimants dealing with losses or injuries resulting from bodily injury, PIP, construction defect, and general liability claims. This role is for more experienced claims adjusters with related experience in these areas. Responsibilities & Qualifications Manage a range of moderate to complex claims with minimal supervision, including bodily injury, PIP, construction defects, and general liability property damage. Use critical thinking to research and develop a foundation for making coverage decisions. Conduct comprehensive investigations to assess damages and liability. Negotiate settlements with insured parties, claimants, and attorneys. Possess an in-depth understanding of relevant policies, endorsements, and specialized technical knowledge, including contracts, risk transfers, and indemnification tenders. Responsible for effective file management, ensuring accurate reserving, presenting claims to committees, and drafting reservation of rights and coverage denial letters. Demonstrate consistent high-quality customer service and adhere to departmental audit standards. Participate in projects and initiatives as needed. Be a proactive team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change. Ideally based in the Milwaukee or Madison metro area. Preferred Experience and Skills:
