Responsibilities

As an RA Developer, you will be responsible for designing robotic process automation (RPA) workflow solutions and creating, maintaining, and monitoring new RPAs. This role will collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand business processes and create new RPAs.

  • Creates new RPA solutions and continually refines existing solutions.
  • Develops reporting capabilities for new and existing automations.
  • Documents, tests, and deploys automations, adhering to the software development life cycle (SDLC) process.
  • Uses source control to store source code, including packages, individual files, and any support assets.
  • Collaborates with business analysts, business partners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver automations.
  • Reviews developed RPAs before production deployment to ensure development standards are properly met.
  • Monitors existing RPAs for breaking functionality.
  • Provides progress reports to senior IT leadership.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of technology trends to ensure the RPA applications are utilizing the most appropriate tools and configuration.
  • Helps develop and maintain RPA workflow standards.
  • Provides guidance to other roles within IT on implementing various RPA bots and functionality.
  • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; in lieu of bachelor's degree, equivalent related job experience with two (2+) years' experience in RPA development may be substituted.
  • Two (2+) years of RPA development experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with UiPath.
  • Hands-on development experience with at least one programming language.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems.
