You Are:

An innovative and dynamic professional with a passion for optical engineering and product management. You possess a strong background in optics, optical engineering, or physics, and have hands-on experience with optical design software like CODE V. You excel at translating customer needs into product features and specifications, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with software development teams. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and have a knack for strategic planning and market analysis. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively engage with customers, partners, and team members. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed is essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting Marcom for written technical marketing materials, including product descriptions, competitive pieces, ads, brochures, and white papers.
• Participating in industry events relevant to the product.
• Engaging in strategic planning for product roadmaps and portfolio management.
• Documenting requirements and clarifying them during R&D processes.
• Participating in agile activities such as planning, retrospectives, and bug prioritization.
• Managing alpha/beta testing phases by soliciting user feedback and gathering supporting materials.
• Providing occasional technical support and participating in training courses.
• Determining product packaging and pricing strategies based on customer feedback and competitive analysis.
• Supporting sales efforts by visiting customers, participating in trade shows, and preparing materials for global sales meetings.
• Engaging in professional development and team-building activities, including attending technical sessions at conferences and taking relevant classes.

What You'll Need:

• BS, MS, or PhD degree in Optics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with an emphasis on image forming systems.
• Experience with optical design software such as CODE V.
• Experience as an optical engineer, optical manufacturer, or optical systems engineer.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product features and specifications.
• Experience working with software development teams to communicate product definition, goals, and use cases.
• Familiarity with AI systems, illumination tools, stray light tools, solid modeling tools, and photonics tools is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
