POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Category Management, the Global Category Manager, Resins Molded Components is responsible for the strategic management of our global resins molded components category. This position will provide category leadership, aligning with segment and regional category teams and working closely with segment and divisional product leaders, operations and other key stakeholders to deploy strategies that drive value and sustainability in our supply chain. This key role will work closely with the global supply chain teams, operations, and plant and corporate leaders in the development of strategic plans and supporting objectives to drive overall performance across Regal Rexnord.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and drive a category strategy for resins molded components including developing strategic sourcing partnerships, leading negotiations, and strategy implementation.
  • Lead Supplier management strategy including supplier development, supply base consolidation, cost reduction roadmaps and implementation of supplier segmentation plan.
  • Partner with business segments and influence the strategic direction of the category strategy, including design criteria, and directed sourcing requirements (Tier 2/Tier 3).
  • Lead the effort to achieve and maintain alignment in the value chain between the suppliers, and the end customer in all quality and delivery requirements.
  • Strategically support divisions within the larger function of global supply chain.
  • Manage, track, and report key drivers, and market trends from a historical and forecasting perspective.
  • Establish and implement countermeasures to compensate for market trends.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the category total cost, including an integrated view of tooling and component costs as a part of the category strategy.
  • Partner with the operational purchasing teams to ensure period-over-period process improvements.
  • Drive innovation with a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chain organization.
  • Responsible for timely reporting to agreed-on KPIs and present strategic sourcing plans, activities and successes to the Senior Leadership Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Operations management.
  • Minimum of 7 years of supply chain, operations, distribution or category management including 3 years of resins and molded components.
  • Demonstrated industry understanding of resins molded components.
  • Demonstrated understanding of resin and polymer supply base, cost drivers, market dynamics, and cost management/reduction strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience with direct material sourcing on a global scale, with multi-tier supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to use a structured approach to understand, analyze and solve complex problems and issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop working partnerships with Segment leadership across the business, to challenge and influence change.
  • Strong written communication and excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge of Oracle or SAP a plus.

Compensation Details:
$108K - $168K

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation forall statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors,including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
