We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Research Analyst - Journeyman to support intelligence operations by applying advanced analytical techniques to enhance decision-making within the Intelligence Community (IC). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing actionable intelligence products and leveraging various analytical tools to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.



Responsibilities

    Develop actionable intelligence leads and classified intelligence products in accordance with ODNI tradecraft standards.
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, fill intelligence gaps, and project potential events using disparate data sources.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on intelligence and investigative programs, applying methodologies to develop well-supported conclusions.
  • Acquire and validate intelligence information from various IC sources to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide oral and written briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders, effectively conveying complex intelligence findings.
  • Utilize analytic tools and software, including Sentinel, CapIQ, Pitchbook, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to support research and reporting.
  • Support counterintelligence efforts by analyzing foreign financial threats and other risk factors.
  • Develop and implement mathematical models and optimization methods to assist in decision-making and policy formulation.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative research techniques to enhance intelligence processes, improve operational efficiency, and optimize logistics networks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of intelligence analysis experience supporting the FBI or a U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) agency.
  • Top Secret/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph (Must be valid for at least six months at the time of resume submission)
  • Experience conducting administrative, analytical, and research functions in an intelligence environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively brief intelligence findings and argue positions.
  • Knowledge of IC resources, operations, procedures, and terminology, as well as best practices for intelligence product development.

Preferred:

  • Experience in operations research, including mathematical modeling, decision support software, and policy optimization.
  • Background in counterintelligence and foreign financial threat analysis.
  • Familiarity with program evaluation, review, and implementation within an intelligence setting.
